On May 4th, 2021 I received a phone call:
In this occurrence, the client’s complaint was that his garage door wouldn’t open more than a few inches, and then it would go back down. When I arrived I found that one of his torsion springs (which are used to lift most of the weight of the garage door) had snapped in half. Because of this, the weight of the garage door was too heavy for the Opener to lift. I replaced his Torsion Springs and this fixed his problem.
